About Marinade

The company was incorporated in 1982 and has been trading as an independent electronic commerce consultancy since 1988. We provide advice, ideas, news, project planning, management and execution related to e-commerce for international trade. If we have made ourselves a name for anything, it is for innovation and new ways of solving old problems in trade.

We have three main groups of clients: users or potential users of electronic commerce products and techniques, providers of such products or services, and international organisations such as the International Chamber of Commerce and the European Commission.

In the company itself, there are only two of us: Judith King and Åke Nilson. We have worked together as a very complementary team since the start of our involvement with the Bolero project in 1991. Of course, we wouldn't be able to take part in so many different projects and activities without the help of many others, and so, for example, we have an excellent technical and legal team in Marinade's sister company Allagraf Limited, which specialises in software for international trade.
