We are a small, independent electronic commerce consultancy, specialising in secure applications for international trade. This website aims to show what we are doing to make world trade more effective, as well as providing information resources in the area of electronic commerce for world trade.
Marinade has been operating in this business since 1988. At that time, we worked with EDI standards for transport and insurance, and we have seen the market change beyond recognition since then. But whether there is a dotcom boom or bust, whether the standards are EDI or XML, whether we use VANs or the Net, one thing remains certain - eventually, all non-physical aspects of international trade will be handled by electronic means. And we will be there to help organisations make the most of the opportunities.
